| About us
| JRBiomedical
was established in 2005, with a growing client base including the NHS,
diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies as well as high street pharmacy
retailers. Some companies simply require the establishment of a
distributor base here in the UK whilst other projects can be more
complex, requiring concept completion, development of marketing plans,
product launch and promotion. Our expertise frees up existing
resources, allowing companies to spend more time on product innovation
and development whilst we focus on the commercialisation.
Whether
an international organisation or a sole inventor we help to get new
ideas and innovative products to market and generating revenue streams
quickly. Recent clients include;
NHS ScotlandJRBiomedical was introduced to NHS Scotland by
Boots the Chemist as a potential partner to manufacture, launch and
market an innovative device called the “Arc”. The Arc was invented by
doctors from NHS Scotland to help parents diagnose the signs and
symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia quickly and accurately at home.
JRBiomedical was awarded the global rights to manufacture and
distribute the Arc but first we had to complete the development,
co-ordinate the design and manufacture of injection moulding tools,
packaging design, manufacture and distribution logistics. The Arc
Meningitis Early Alert Pack was launched by JRBiomedical in August 2007
with the support of the Meningitis Trust - the world’s largest
meningitis charity, consultant paediatricians and GPs. Our launch and
promotional campaign included high profile consumer magazine and press
coverage as well as prime time TV features.
“We were impressed by the fact that you had arranged for the device to
be featured on BBC Breakfast.... and that you got the product to market
so quickly. Congratulations!” Inventors of the meningitis test,
NHS Scotland.
